HVAC Service Technicians
Benefits: Paid major holidays and birthdays, Supplementary Health Insurance including dental, Health Insurance, PTO
Pay Scale $20-$27 DOE + spiffs
Hours: Slightly flexible 40 hours per week within business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, overtime is approved as needed, seasonal on-call rotation (with spiff) for after hours and weekend emergency calls
Regular training is offered through a wide range of outlets - some training is available for compensation
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ yrs. combined HVAC Service experience and/or HVAC technical school training
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Current EPA certificate
- Basic understanding of city/county installation codes
- Must provide their own basic set of tools
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Montana drivers license and insurable driving record
- Ability and willingness to float between Service and Installation departments as incoming work flow changes
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position: bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, lifting 30lbs+ from ground, etc.
- Able to approach assigned work in a professional manner, working toward the common goal of teamwork, pride in service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Must possess computer/smart phone literacy and be able/willing to learn work order and time tracking software.
- Good understanding of all HVAC low voltage systems
- Good understanding of a wide range of residential and commercial equipment for repairing and/or performing maintenance
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Possess or be willing to acquire NATE certification
- Extensive experience servicing boiler units

- 2+ yrs. of Installing Residential HVAC systems (furnaces, mini splits, and air conditioning units)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Current EPA certificate
- Experience with refrigeration
- Basic understanding of city/county installation codes
- Must provide their own basic set of tools
- Able to work both independently and on a team depending on the job
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Montana driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position: bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders, lifting 30lbs+ from ground, etc.
