My son was born in 2016, so I wanted to get into a stable career to be able to support myself
and my family.

No matter where you are in Montana, it only takes about five minutes to get to the middle of nowhere and go be in solitude and nature.

I started out my early working career remodeling homes, electrical and plumbing work and started learning the HVAC trade with my brother in-law. When I moved to Montana I knew that this was the career path I was enjoying most, so I got on with High Mountain.

I love the learning opportunities and challenges. And when other tradesmen are complimentary my work it is very fulfilling.

I got into HVAC because I was tired of playing in the dirt!

I enjoy making friends in this line of work but many of them have become family and I love getting to be a part of the community with them.

I was born and raised in Montana and I'm going to die there!

As someone who wasn't interested in going to college, HVAC seemed like a stable career to follow.

It's fulfilling in itself just to get the work done, complete jobs and help people

While I was earning my bachelor's in business, an office manager role opened up and felt like a great chance to get hands-on experience. It ended up being with my now husband's family's business, which made it even more special-I wouldn't change it for the world.

It's most fulfilling for me to work in a role that aligns with my values. Knowing that what I do contributes to something meaningful and keeps me motivated.

What I love most about living in Montana is the access to the outdoors. Whether it's the mountains, rivers, or just the open space, it's easy to get outside and reset. It is also the most beautiful place on earth!

I got into my role here pretty naturally as my family has been in the industry for a little while now!

The most fulfilling part of my job is probably the social and creative things I get to do. I also get to collaborate with some folks that I never thought I would get to!

My favorite thing about Montana besides Montana is of course the mountains, rivers, sky and all it has to offer. There are some incredible and kind people here and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I joined the Army in 2010. I was away from my children for 8 months. I came home for 1 month then deployed to Afghanistan for a year. After I came back from Afghanistan I had a choice to continue my Army career and not be present in my kids life or find something else. I decided to go to college for HVAC in 2015 because it was a challenge. I knew the trades would provide a good income for my family and would never become obsolete. It interested me because it includes so much like plumbing, electrical, thermodynamics, environmental conditions, and so much more.

My favorite part about my job is how difficult it can be. I love finding the clues that lead to fixing something. I love that I can help people and it brings value to my life being there when it's the middle of winter and I can get someone heat. I love how much pride I feel in myself when I figure something out or when another tech needs help and I know the answer. I am so interested in how things work and learning about them.

My favorite part of Montana is the space. I love how vast it is. I love the land because of the mountains, rivers, and animals. You can just sit and reflect in peace. It makes me think of how wonderful the world used to be.

I was drawn to the trades to develop a valuable, hands-on skill. I began as an installer helper, but over time discovered that I particularly enjoy diagnosing issues and working on equipment in the service department.

The most fulfilling aspect of my work is being able to help people when they need it most-especially during the winter months, when reliable heat is essential in many of the areas we serve.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially floating the rivers in the summer and exploring new hiking trails.

I take pride in providing dependable service and continuing to grow my skills in the HVAC field so that I can help others.

I got into HVAC because of my friend Matt. He has worked in the industry for over 6 years and had been hounding me to join him so I finally did when time permitted.

Easily, the most fulfilling part of my job, is that I get to meet so many new people. As well, it can be very challenging at times and can require much creativity, which in itself, is rewarding.

Montana has always been intriguing to me and I've always admired its grandeur. As soon as I got the opportunity to move to Missoula 12 years ago, I happily jumped on it and haven't looked back since. I love the space Montana provides and the genuine nature of its people. It is my goal to have helped contribute to the success of the company and its team everyday
